The Lions Should Start Thinking Future

Let’s face it folks. Matt Stafford is a good QB. One of the better quarterbacks to play in the NFCN, but at some point (hopefully soon) the Detroit Lions front office should start thinking trade. Matt has an elite Wide Receiver in Tate and a few semi-elite receivers to toss to, but he just can’t. Maybe it is the OLine, but let’s face it, they need the next best QB to take them to the next level. Also beef up that OLine and I personally don’t see any reason the Lions can’t break the “No Super Bowl” curse. This will have to be the workings of the head coach and GM to make it happen though, and I do not see them taking a leap to achieve greatness, especially the GM. The fans know this, other teams fans know this, hell even the Lions players know this. Maybe the front office should watch Draft Day and take some pointers. Sometimes it proves profitable to just say “screw it”! Also fire your OC. He failed horribly.
